PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Deputies with the Perry County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 26-year-old man Saturday in a February UTV death investigation.

Sheriff Joe Engle said Noah Back, of Vicco, was arrested around 1:30 p.m. at his home after a judge signed an arrest warrant Saturday. Back was taken to the Kentucky River Regional Jail.

The sheriff’s office said Back is charged with murder in the death of 16-year-old Emilynn Clark.

After talking with Commonwealth’s Attorney John Hansen, the sheriff’s office said investigators believe Back’s actions on Feb. 28 showed “extreme indifference to human life” and led to Clark’s death.

The Perry County Coroner’s Office said early autopsy results show Clark was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of her death, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office has not released more details about what happened. The case remains under investigation.
