Kentucky Division of Forestry employees on out-of-state assignments to return home for Wildfire Hazard Season

KENTUCKY (WKYT) - 18 employees with the Kentucky Division of Forestry on out-of-state assignments are set to return home in time for Kentucky’s Wildfire Hazard Season.

The Wildfire Hazard Season begins October 1, and the employees will be returning from 14-day assignments in either Idaho, Texas, Wyoming, Oklahoma or Oregon.

On Thursday, Sept. 10, the crew in Idaho helped cut hand lines around the fire edge on a wildfire caused by an RV rollover, the Kentucky Division of Forestry said.
