Kentucky State basketball player released from ICE custody

KENTUCKY (WKYT) - A Kentucky State University basketball player was released from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody after posting a $2,500 bond on Wednesday.

A native of Senegal, Aminata Seck, 26, was arrested in August at Ali International Airport in Louisville while traveling with the team to a tournament.

ICE officials said that Seck overstayed her student visa related to a prior surgery.

Seck, a senior center, was being held at the Grayson County Detention Center.
