WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A screening of the movie “Sandy Wedge” is planned this weekend in Midway, and part of ticket sales will be donated to help Wilson’s, a Versailles business, reopen after it was forced to close.
Filmmaker Michael Gilkison shot scenes for the movie inside the restaurant.
“I’m really glad that I’m able to show my film and kind of remind people, hey, you know, let’s keep the support coming, let’s keep it consistent,” Gilkison said.
Tickets are about $30. You can buy one here.
