Police in Kentucky are warning the public about a Walmart secret shopper scam after receiving several reports of victims.

The Berea Police Department says it has received reports of victims stemming from a Facebook scam. The scam looks to get victims to sign up for a program where they are sent a letter and check.

The victims are asked to deposit the check at a bank and withdraw cash before going to Walmart and purchase three blank money orders in different amounts. Those money orders are then sent to an address.

Officers are reminding the public no survey will ever ask you to cash a check and send them money.
