Victim found shot to death inside car in Lexington identified
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington police are investigating the death of a man who was found shot inside a car.
Police were called to Hedgewood Court for a report of shots fired around 11:35 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers said the victim, 28-year-old Shon D. Davis, Jr., was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A neighbor along Hedgewood Court told us he’s heard plenty of gunshots coming from that area leading up to this.
“I went to the window and saw the caution tape and I immediately knew it was a shooting and that someone probably got killed,” Jordan Graves said. “A couple hours later, I hear about the other shooting on Winchester Road. I don’t know what the hell is going on with Lexington. It’s getting ridiculous.”
The investigation is ongoing.
