Motorcyclist taken to hospital after Lexington crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - One person was taken to the hospital after a crash in Lexington.
It happened around noon on Georgetown Rd.
Police say a wrecker was hauling a large load when it came loose and veered into oncoming traffic. Two semis had to swerve off the road to avoid the load. However, a motorcyclist was hit by the load.
That person was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Georgetown Rd was shut down in both directions between Kearney Ridge Blvd and Berea Rd. at one point due to the crash.
