One dead after crashing car into tree

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A woman is dead following a single-car crash at around 2:30 Sunday morning.

The Fayette County Coroner said Mitzy Romo-Avila, 27, died from multiple blunt force injuries after she crashed into a tree on Yarnallton Pike and Spurr Road.

Romo-Avila was the only person in the car at the time of the crash.
