Berea Police Department announces guidelines for Fourth of July celebration

BEREA, Ky. (WKYT) - Community members have been asked to follow safety guidelines during Berea’s public Fourth of July celebration.

Police say a huge crowd is expected, and ask the public not to bring personal golf carts to the park. Golf carts will make it too difficult for people to navigate and enjoy the celebrations, officials say.

No outside fireworks are allowed at the City Park, according to police.

Police say anyone violating either rule could be asked to leave the park.
