KSP investigating deadly Clay County shooting

MANCHESTER, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky State Police say they are investigating an Aug. 15 shooting that left one man dead.
According to KSP’s preliminary investigation, two men got into a verbal argument in front of a home in the Arnetts Fork Road area around 10 p.m.
KSP says the men began shooting at each other after the argument escalated.
One of the men, 55-year-old James Lawson, was found unresponsive in his vehicle after driving away from the argument. Officials say Lawson died from injuries sustained in the fight.
The other man was injured but declined medical treatment, according to KSP.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing.
