Daughter, boyfriend charged in murders of Rockcastle County husband, wife
Kentucky State Police have charged the 16-year-old daughter and her boyfriend for the murders of a husband and wife in Rockcastle County.
Police arrested the teenage daughter of Chara and William Bryant on Thursday and charged her with two counts of murder for the deaths of her parents.
Christopher Wayne Lee Evans, 22, is charged with two counts of murder in addition to burglary and tampering with physical evidence.
According to State Police, Evans is the boyfriend of the daughter of the murdered couple.
Another daughter of Chara and William Bryant found their bodies in the bedroom of their home on June 8th. Police ruled their deaths were homicides.
According to an arrest citation, Evans admitted going into the Bryant's home to kill them. Evans told investigators he shot the couple with a .38 special.
The citation goes on to say Evans admitted to washing his clothes and burning his tennis shoes following the crime to remove evidence.
The daughter, who's name police are not releasing, is being housed in a juvenile facility in Adair County.
