The pastor of the Reed family in Sevier County has announced that they've received official word that the body Constance Reed has been found - in the aftermath of the fires that swept through the Gatlinburg area on Monday.

Pastor Phillip C. Morris, Jr. announced at 2:00 pm Saturday that the Sevier County Sheriff's Department had notified family members that the body of Constance Reed had been recovered and positively identified. The Sheriff's Department told the family it was apparent Constance had been fleeing the fire on foot when she perished. She and her daughters had gotten separated from her husband, Michael Reed.

Morris made the announcement Saturday afternoon on behalf of the family from Parkway Church of God. "Our hearts are broken to receive this news, " said Morris.

Constance Reed's mother tells Local 8 News she was told two bodies were been found around Constance. They have not been identified as her daughters by officials, but family confirmed their deaths Saturday.

Earlier this week, Michael Reed said the family got separated during the fires Monday night. They last heard from Reed's wife at 8 p.m. Monday.

The church has set up a fund for the Reed family at Parkway Church of God.

With profound sadness that is now a part of my soul I am sorry to share the passing of Constance, Chloe and Lily. Please continue to pray for my son Michael and his son Nichols.
